A short but productive beat on the river Elwy that should fish well at all times.

The club leases this beat, about 500m. Right bank.

How to find it

Leave St Asaph on the A525 Trefnant/Denbigh road, after passing The Oriel House Hotel towards the top of the rise, look for a sign on the RHS saying  ‘’Reeds from Seeds’’ and  ‘’ Bryn Polyn Nurseries’’.  Turn right with care into the Nursey.  From Trefnant/Denbigh on the A525 pass Tweedmill on your right, in about half a mile turn left at the sign for ‘’Reeds from Seeds’’ and  ‘’Bryn Polyn Nurseries’’.  Dive SLOWLY straight ahead as indicated to the parking area at the end of the road.  Park as directed on the signs.

Bryn Polyn is a working nursey and also people live on site.  Please keep all noise to an absolute minimum especially at night and also observe any requests from staff.

Walk between the two small ponds, turn left and follow the path down through woods to the river.
