Maes Elwy Beat

A prime beat on the river Elwy that produces fish at all times.  Noted for night sea trout fishing.

The clubs own beat, about 1100m. Right bank above and below the first weir on the Elwy.
Park as indicated.  Walk back to the road; turn right and go about 50 yards to a style on the opposite side of the road.  Walk to fence and follow to bottom of right hand field.  Down through the woods and across the field to the river.  Quite a long walk, uphill on the return.

No fishing 27.4m. Above and 22.9m. below the weir.
