WORKING PARTY WEEKEND 12TH & 13TH JUNE 2010

The turnout was not as good as the last weekend partly due to the absence of several key players. However we had 2 good days and managed to achieve our objectives.
Saturday was spent at Maes Elwy. Paths were cleared and strimmed to allow access to the main fishing areas. Richard & Chris made a noble effort to trim the overhanging bushes on the far banks to improve the chances of getting your fly back!
On Sunday we did the same sort of things at Pentre Isa, with Bob and Ian H lopping obstructing branches on the straight run to the old railway bridge.

In all about 20 members attended over the 2 days, our thanks go to them for all their efforts.
If you feel your favourite beat has been neglected & needs attention we have strimmers & loppers etc, which are available to members to use on our beats.
All you need to do is ask and it can be arranged.

The final weekend is on 11th and 12th September meeting at the New Inn car park 10am. Please make every effort to attend it really makes a difference.
